He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Rostick and Josephine Rostick; and his son Robert. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his sons, Edward (Rosemary), Paul (Kathryn), Mark (Katherine), Chris (Paula) and Doug (Carolyne); and his caregiver Brandi Thompson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Congregational Church (210 Melrose Ave, Tryon, NC 28782). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either to The Congregational Church, UCC in Tryon, NC or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
