She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wharmby and Jennie Wharmby; her son Charles Allan Pruette Jr. (Cappy); her great grandchild Gabriel Stapleton; her siblings-in-law, Pat Pruette Barber, Herb Barber and Merrill Randall; and her nephew Benji Wharmby.
She is survived by: her husband Allan Pruette; her pet Laddie; her son Cappy; her granddaughter Barbie; her daughters, Karen Pruette Brock (Robert) of Chapin and Sandy Pruette Pisano (Bryan) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Alex Fagan (Kate) of Greenville, SC, Lizz Stapleton (Eric) of Chapin, SC and Kathryn Fagan (Christian Stampler) of Greenville, SC; her great grandchildren, Isla Fagan, Hart Fagan and Jamie Stapleton; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica Brock Peters, Lash (Sara), Brock (Cadence), Ansley Campbell and Gregg Fegan; and her siblings, Trish Hinkle (Kenneth) of Gastonia, NC, Jean Randall of Kings Mnt and Chuck Wharmby (Reeta) of Kentucky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews she loved.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tryon Presbyterian Church (430 Harmon Field Rd, Tryon, NC 28782).
