It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wright Sr. of Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Larry had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Larry may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Oliver and Margaret Louise Wofford Wright; his son Johnny Lee Wright; and his brother Tommy Wright. He is survived by: his sons, Larry Thomas Wright, Jr. and Tim Wright; his brother Johnny Wright; and his close friend Pamela Williams. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
