The memory of Margaret Craig Kell of Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, S. J. "Jack" Craig and Margaret Thomas "Shine" Craig; her former husband Donald Wayne Hardigree; and her brother John Thomas "Butch" Craig. She is survived by: her husband Thomas D. Kell; her daughter Christian E. Hardigree (Chris Brown); and her stepchildren, Sami Kell Morrison (Jud) and Thomas S. Kell (Jeanna). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Landrum Global Methodist Church (227 N Howard Ave, Landrum, SC 29356). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be sent to Foothills Humane Society, the Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
