Marianne Hubbard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 87, Marianne Hubbard (Tryon, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marianne Hubbard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Hudson Hubbard III (Hank); her daughter Katharine Peirce Hubbard; her sisters, Deanne Smith McMurren and Suzanne Smith Mueller; and her parents, Mary Benton Smith and Thor Merritt Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Hudson Hubbard IV (Monica) and Karen Hubbard Jones (Stephen); and her grandchildren, Clare O'Donnell Hubbard (Vivek Shivaram), Katharine Peirce Hubbard and Samuel David Hubbard Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Tryon Estates (617 Laurel Lake Dr, Columbus, NC 28722).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to rebuilding the Pearson Falls Visitor Center and walking paths by giving to the Tryon Garden Club and specifying Pearson Falls Project.
