He was predeceased by: his parents, Verno Parton and MaryJane Rainwater Parton; and his siblings, Nell Earley, Hazel Parton, Geraldine Lammonds, Rudolph Parton and Juanita Rigdon.
He is survived by: his wife Camilla Rogers Brandon; his daughters, Tanya Watson (Jason) of Inman, Shelli Allen (Joey) of Forest City and Jennifer Travis (Bart) of Raleigh; his stepdaughters, Darien Taylor of Los Angeles and Schorr Taylor (Eric) of Tryon; his siblings, Carl Parton (Cassandra) of Rutherfordton and Wanda Mayo (Alfred) of Rutherfordton; his grandchildren, Katie Coffey, Hannah Whisnant, Emma Coffey and Cash Taylor; and his great grandchild Avery Whisnant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
