He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas and Gloria Tenant Thomas; his son Wayne Anthony Thomas; his stepson Brett T. Gloer; and his siblings, Frankie Thomas, June Hawkins, Donald Thomas and Wiley Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bruce Thomas; his stepchildren, Bradley A. Gloer (Denise E. Gloer) of Florida and April A. DeCarlo of Colorado; his granddaughters, Sara Margaret Kruger (Alak DeMoura) of Colorado and Carly Jordan Rahaman (Micheal Rahaman) of Florida; his great grandchild Zelda Marie Rahaman; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Thomas; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Thomas, Bill Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Terry Thomas, Patricia Lewis, Cathy Niedemeyer, Mary Baress, Blanche Thomas, Jean-Marie McKellar and Charles Thomas (Wendy Thomas).
