It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bubbie Hoxit (Tuckasegee, North Carolina), who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bubbie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bubbie farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeward Hoxit and Juanita Hoxit. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alithyia, Ethan (Couge) and Hannah (Beercap); his wife Gayla (Shorty); his daughter Tia (Tater); and his siblings, Leonard Hoxit (Lisa) of Little Canada, Tim Hoxit of Little Canada and Janice Garcia (Chuy) of Sylva.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Charleys Creek Baptist Church (7766 Charleys Creek Rd, Tuckasegee, NC 28783). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
