She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Edward Matthews and Azlee Sally Simmons Matthews; and her husband Harold Thomas Skiles (Teeter). She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Skiles (Becky), Sarah Nethercutt (Ken) and Bobby Register, Jr. (Kimberly); her sister Paula Parks (Alan); her sister-in-law Brenda Turner; her adoptive mother Lynn Mercer; and her pet CoCo. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
