It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Ray Cain of Turkey, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Ernest Cain; and his sister Cathy Dellinger. He is survived by : his mother Hosea Woodall Cain; his daughters, Lisa R. Cain and Laura D. Cain; his grandchildren, Garrett Whipkey, Jack Whipkey, Savannah Tyndall (Jordan), Abigail Whipkey and Alannah Cain; his sister Peggy Mizelle; and his caregivers, Edna Murphy, Brittany Parker and Willie Bowden, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
