Burma Millsaps Bellingar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burma Millsaps Bellingar of Union Grove, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Burma has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Parks Millsaps and Anna Lou Sprinkle Millsaps; and her siblings, Randy Millsaps, Steve Millsaps and Maxine Jenkins.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Bellingar; her sons, Phil Pope (Annette) and Carroll Pope (Trasie) of Nazaré; and her grandchildren, Krystal Pope of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Wade Pope of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cagney's Kitchen of Wilkesboro (1200 Central St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
