He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lee and Nell Cass Lunsford; his wife Nancy Combs Lunsford; and his sisters, Audrey Jordan, Geraldine Prevette, Betty Lou Gregory and Rose Prevette.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Lunsford Caudill (David) of Statesville and Dwayne Lunsford (Donna) of Union Grove; his grandchildren, Molly Caudill of Statesville, Joshua Lunsford of Union Grove, Hannah Lunsford of Union Grove and Caleb Lunsford of Union Grove; and his brothers, Allen Lunsford (Rose) of Union Grove and Claybourne Lunsford (Jean) of Union Grove.
