Kaye Street Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kaye Street of Union Mills, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kaye shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kaye farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Crook and Shirley Hall Crook; her son Shane Weeks; her husband Jimmy Davis; and her siblings, Edward Crook, Jr. and Kelley Bradley.
She is survived by: her sister Donna Moore of Nebo, NC; and her sister-in-law Grace Crook of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. 4 nephews and 2 nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Padgett & King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Padgett and King Chapel (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Alexander Cemetery (127 Cemetery St, Forest City, NC 28043).
