It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dezaree Martin of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dezaree Martin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Etta Newton and Horace Calloway Hipps; and her sisters, Nancy, Sheila, June and Judy.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Head (Jennifer), Amanda Head Sellers (Allen) and BJ Head; her grandchildren, Tyler, Wyatt and Holly Head; and her children, Connor (Kaela), Lillee (Aidan Carmichael), Isabel, Chase and Cameron Sellers. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wendover Hospice House: Wendover Hospice House, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
