With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Rebecca (Sanders) Sheffield of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Elzie Van and Lula Florence Brewer Sanders; her husband Roy Lee Sheffield; her daughters, Wanda Gwynn and Kathy Hughes; her daughter-in-law Wanda Sheffield; her siblings, Elsie Williams, Dorothy Allen, D. R., Clarence, Bobby and Jerry Sanders; and her grandsons, Robert Hughes and Roy Sherman Gwynn.
She is survived by : her son David Lee Sheffield Sr. of Valdese; and her grandson Jason Sheffield. She is also survived by thirteen other grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
