It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loy Lawrence Norman of Valdese, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Lawrence L. Norman; his wife Dorothy Dean Botts Norman; and his siblings, Selma Baker, Emitt Norman, Carl Norman and Amos Norman Those.

He is survived by : his mother Lola V. Ledford Norman; his niece Brenda Norman Foss; and his friend Becky Shufford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
