We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2022, at the age of 79, Rita Shell Fraley (Valdese, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Shell Fraley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her father Jetter Shell; her sisters, Juanita Knox, Frances Jennings (Chuck) and Arda Huffman; her niece Sandy Blankenship; and her nephews, Keith Shell and Alan Vandervelde.

She is survived by : her children, Jennifer Adams (Jeff) and Tommy Fraley (Renee); her brother Dr. John Shell (Gertrude); her grandchildren, Ricky Hames, Jacob Hames, Chloe Hames, Bentley Fraley, Avery Fraley and Trevor Fraley; and her stepgranddaughter Sarah Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Burke County Friends for Animals at 417 Kirksey Dr, Morganton, NC 28655.
