It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Lynn Stewart of Valdese, North Carolina, born in Pineville, West Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Hoosier; and her siblings, Thomas "Dude" Hoosier, Henrietta Mullins and Irene Clemmons. She is survived by: her mother Phyllis Parton Hoosier; her husband William "Bill" Stewart; her children, Miranda Stewart, Steven Stewart (Jamie) and Chad Stewart (Katherine); her grandchildren, Alexia Chapman, Charles Chapman, Ty Stewart and Andy Stewart; and her siblings, Bill Hoosier (Hannah), Bobby Hoosier (Becky), Joey Hoosier, Alice Brown (Johnny), Brenda Morris (Nelson), Heather Hoosier, Yvonne McGraw (Kenny), Beth Shoemate (David) and Melinda Young. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to The Wig Bank of Caldwell County at 226 Mulberry St. SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
