She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoke Henry Icard and Blanche Elliott Icard; her husband Albert Carl Trivette; and her grandchildren, Tasha Dawn Pennell and Deacon Carl Trivette.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Dawn Land of Hickory, Makeshia Pressley (Bill) of Conover, Bronson Trivette (Tiffany) of Vale and Blaine Trivette (Lisa) of Hickory; and her sister Lori Icard of Hickory. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
