He is survived by: his mother Nancy Ann Gilbert Gantt of Lincolnton; his children, Josh Gantt (Disa) of Lincolnton and Emily Davis (Tim) of Lincolnton; his sisters, Toni "Tonette" Richmond of Lincolnton and Crickett Gantt of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Kialyn Gantt, Laynie Gantt, Maisleigh Gantt, Molly Davis and Chloe Davis.
