He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Houser and Alda Houser; his wife Kaye Houser; and his sisters, Mary Beth Elliott and Ruth Ann Ledford.

He is survived by: his daughter Paige Leonhardt; his grandchildren, Josh Leonhardt, Jordan Leonhardt (Jessie) and Logan Leonhardt (Brad); and his great grandchildren, Lane Davis, Kensleigh, Gavin, River Leonhardt, Oakley Rattler and Adalyn Strange.
