It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eual Frank Burns of Vale, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Penley Burns; his mother Flora Small Davis; his sister Joyce Laughridge (Grace Burns Brown); and his grandmother Sarah Cornelia "Neelie" Burns. He is survived by: his children, Terry Frank Burns (Leigh) of Madison, Harriet Burns of Conover, Crystal Sargent (Joel) of Vale and Cindy Malanowski (Alan) of Newton; his grandchildren, Eric Burns (Stephanie), Daren Burns (Caitlin), Melissa Asbury (Kevin), Reanna Bogle, Erica Person and Matthew Person; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Parker Burns, Keller, Nolan Burns, Addison, Lucas, Harper Asbury, Caleb Bogle, Freya Nicholson-Person, Hadley Richardson and Baby Boy Malanowski; and his sister Miriam Vaught of Valdese.
