With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelene Goodman Hodge of Vale, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Daniel Goodman and Vangie Martin Goodman; her husband Morris Franklin Hodge; her grandson JD "James" Hodge; and her siblings, Thomas Goodman, Shirley Young and Virginia Wright.
She is survived by: her children, David Hodge, Teresa Lowery and Linda Hodge; her siblings-in-law, Hubert Wright, Joyce Goodman, Jane Sparks (Sparky) and Gail Hodge; her grandchildren, Shawn, Patricia, Brandi and Patrick; her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Leslie, Victoria, Skylar, Dylan, Justus, Lejan, Aaliyah and Olivia; and her great great grandchildren, Zaniyah and Sawyer.
