He was predeceased by: his parents, Worth Wellmon and Lectie Edmonson; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Lindsay and Jacob.
He is survived by: his wife Melody Wellmon; his children, Tim Wellmon (Lori), Eddie Wellmon, Debbie Holmes (Walter), Jimmy Wellmon, Candi Bumgardner (Matt), Jessica White (Rick), Ashley Parker (Dave) and Brian Parker (Stacy); his grandchildren, Chris, Keith, Allison, Zach, Kayla, Jada, Justin, Clint, Ethan, Cole, Emily and Madison; and his great grandchildren, C. J., Logan, Scottlynn, Wilder and Wyatt.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Victory Life Church (1495 N Aspen St, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
