He is survived by: his wife Kelly Truesdale Murtagh; his children, Matt Murtagh (Cara) of Greensboro and Johnna Murtagh of Denver, CO; his siblings, Bill Murtagh of Hickory and Sonnette Suzuka (Gregg) of Lancaster, SC; his grandchild Meadow Murtagh; and his mother-in-law Barbara Jarrett (David) of Vale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
