He is survived by: his parents, Harry Wayne Helms and Cathy Helms of Wilmington; his wife Deanna Sain Helms; his daughters, Callie and Mckenna; his sister ElizaBeth Cartner (Joe); his brother-in-law Eric Sain (Amber); and his nieces and nephews, Clayton Cartner (Lea), Ethan Sain, Addison and Aubrey Sain.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hull's Grove Baptist Church (6670 NC-27, Vale, NC 28168). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
