Though Lindsey may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his mother Luella Herman; his wife Pearl Pennell; his close friend Nancy Speagle; and his siblings, Ray Herman, Roy Herman, Wayne Herman (Shirley), Hamford Herman (Mary), Genive Shew (Floyd), Marsline Kissinger (Gary) and Sam.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Herman (Barbara) and Carroll Marlow (Bobby). He is also survived by several sister-in-laws and several neices and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
