She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul David Corriher and Annie Lee Corriher; and her brother David Corriher. She is survived by: her husband Jim Simmons; her children, Angie Carpenter (Joey), Amy Harkey (Pyth), Tim Simmons (Mecca), Mike Simmons (Dana), Jason Simmons and Ginger Sain (William); and her siblings, Tina Brown and Tommy Corriher (Donna). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crossroads Baptist Church (2288 Zion Church Rd, Hickory, NC 28602).
