It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby G. Thomas of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Bobby may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty T. Thomas; his son Dennis Ray Thomas; and his brothers, Alton and Roy Thomas. He is survived by: his grandson Bobby Darrell Thomas of Greenville, NC; his great grandchildren, Kai Thomas and Gage Thomas; and his siblings, Ann T. Goodwin of Wilmington, NC and Clifton Thomas (Peggy) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
