He is survived by: his daughter Akea Payton; his grandchildren, A'Keylah Joyner of Greenville, NC, De'travion Joyner of Greenville, NC and De'kyrie Joyner of Greenville, NC; and his siblings, Henry Wooten (Evon), Ricky Adams (Lisa) of Vanceboro, NC, Gregory Adams of Jacksonville, FL, Glenda Wooten of Vanceboro, NC, Patrilla Singleton of Greenville, NC and Horace Mitchell (Ella) of Vanceboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
