It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lester Fox of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Barry Lee Fox; and his sister Dana Lee Fox. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Garrett Fox; his son Phillip David Fox of Greenville; his mother Bonnie Baker Fox of Topeka, KS; and his siblings, Jonathan Clay Fox (Emily) of Topeka, KS and Kayla L. Harvick (Ted) of Moore, OK. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
