She is survived by: her daughter Vivian Kirkpatrick James; her children-in-law, Elaine Walker Kirkpatrick and Stephen David James; her grandchildren, Craig Mitchell Kirkpatrick, Scott Walker Kirkpatrick, Ryan Mason Kirkpatrick, Amanda James Seidenfeld and Taylor David James; her great grandchildren, Cameron McKlain Kirkpatrick, Michelle Emma Kirkpatrick, Jordan Kimble Kirkpatrick, Carter Mason Kirkpatrick, Joshua Mitchell Kirkpatrick, Walker Drake Kirkpatrick, Penelope Scott Payne, Helen Carter Payne and Beatrix Couch Payne; and her great great grandchild Isabelle Annalise.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (401 E 4th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (204 6th Ave E, Hendersonville, NC 28739).
