He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Faulkner Martin and Willie Gyden Faulkner; his brothers, Willie Faulkner and Gardner Faulkner; and his stepfather Rock Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Faulkner Brown (Lee Brown) of Winterville; his grandchildren, Mylee Luecht (Josh), Landen Brown (Jenna) and Leah Brown; his daughter Kimberly Faulkner Gruden (Steve) of Fuquay Varina; and his grandchildren, Adam, Benjamin, Carmen and Sage Gruden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
