She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marrow and Myrla Chesson Marrow; her husband William Riley Cox; and her sister Pat Hamilton. She is survived by: her children, William R. "Bill" Cox, Jr. (Susan) of Greenville and Myrla C. Florstedt (Jim Ward) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Brandon Cox of Charlotte, Lauren Cox Morales (Goyo) of Bluffton, SC, Chad Florstedt of Portland, OR and Hillary Florstedt Mekanik (Doug) of Midlothian, VA; and her great grandchildren, Natalia Morales, Roman Morales, Olivia Mekanik and Grayson Mekanik.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James United Methodist Church (2000 E 6th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
