He is survived by: his wife Pat Nelson; his brother Jeff Nelson (Juana); his brother-in-law Earl Downs (Lisa); his nephews, Michael Downs, Stephen Downs (Amy) and Brandon Downs (Tiffany); his niece Haley Downs; his great-nephews, Maverick and Beckett Downs; and his pet Josie.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (4150 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
