She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hudson and Gladys Boyd Hudson; her husband Alonzo Harrington; and her brothers, J. A., Bruce, Robert and Billy Gene Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Harrington Gordon (David) and Paul Harrington (Sissy) of Greenville; her stepchildren, Cindy Rose (Warren) of Louisburg, Richard Harrington (Lavon) of Summerville, SC and Deborah Clark of Trenton; her grandsons, Matthew Abele (Hosanna Rubio) of Cosa Mesa, CA and Dustin Abele (Lauren Halsey) of Raleigh; her stepgrandchildren, Candice, Kini, Gina, Rachel, Darrel and Katie; and her sisters, Ruby Kite (John) of Greenville and Betty Mae Jones of Greenville. She is also survived by 14 Great-grandchildren, Numerous nieces and nephews.
