He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meeks and Georgia Holstead Meeks; and his brother William Meeks. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Meeks; his daughter Kaitlyn Townsend (Cody) of Greenville; and his sisters, Evon Sutton (Tommy) of Washington, Debra Shultis (Gene) of Ayden, Darlene Avery (Edward) of Black Jack, Shirley Tripp (Ricky) of Greenville and Tammy Meeks of Ayden. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
