We bid farewell to James Franklin Barwick of Vanceboro, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 21, 2025 at the age of 80. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam (Glen Barwick) and Jim; and his brothers, John and Gene Barwick. He is survived by: his daughter Hope Hodges Barwick of Washington, NC; his brother Allen Barwick of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Cooper and Kyler Tate; his son Jeff Barwick (Kathryn) of Washington, NC; and his grandchildren, Mary Gretchen, Sammy, Cord and Georgia Hayes Barwick.
