We bid farewell to James Roy Leggett of Vanceboro, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 18, 2025 at the age of 81. James Roy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Leggett and Virginia Leggett; and his brother William Earl Leggett. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rogers Leggett; his children, James Roy Leggett, Jr. (Maria) of Memphis, TN and Christina Leggett Smith (Carl) of Washington, NC; his grandchildren, Ethan James Leggett, Isabella Grace Leggett, William James Leggett and Lydia Allyson Smith; and his sister Ann Leggett Scott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
