It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Bennett Jolly of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett; her husband Hubert Allen Jolly, Jr.; her sisters, Elizabeth Ann Thomas and Patricia Kathryn Bennett; and her son-in-law Paul Hobbs, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Elizabeth Jolly Hobbs (Edward Flanagan), Melanie Carol Jolly (Goshtasb Arjomand) and Hubert Allen Jolly, III (Sarah Cox Jolly); her grandchildren, Logan Eric Thomas (Brandy Hill), Shelby Alexis Jolly, Chelsea Allena Jolly and Rachael Hobbs (Alex Kesling); her great grandchildren, Lena Zurface and Juniper Hobbs Kesling; her siblings, Susan B. Thigpen (Billy), John S. Bennett (Cynthia), Rebecca B. Saleeby (Jeff), Robert W. Bennett and William D. Bennett (Brenda); and her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Horn, Joyce Albritton and Pam Jolly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
