He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Bryan, Sr. and Estella Strong Bryan; and his in-laws, Mortimer and Hazel T. Howard. He is survived by: his sisters, Pearl Joann Bryan and Bonnie Bryan-Watlington; his children, Storm Bryan-Williamson and John L. Bryan III; his grandchildren, Heather, Carolei, Christopher and Alisha; his son-in-law Robert Williamson; and his siblings-in-law, Paige Howard Hickson, Thurman Watlington, Chandler T. Howard and Grant T. Howard. He is also survived by many cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke Baptist Church (410 Hawkinstown Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
