We are sad to announce that, on August 24, 2025, John W. Graves of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Montgomery, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Fannie Graves; his brother Bill Graves (Sue); and his niece Jennifer Graves. He is survived by: his wife June Hester; his brother David Graves (Karen) of Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Graves (Melissa) of Arizona, Brett Graves of California, Tim Graves (Slade) of Arizona, Carina, Angela of Kentucky and Suzanne White (Doug) of Virginia; and his extended family, Oleta Hester, Gail Hester, Wanda Morrow (Jack), Phil Hester (Elaine), Aaron Hester (Ginger), Mat Hester (Ashley), Danny Meyers (Joy), Mollie Morrow (Jordan) and Jonathan Avedesian (Samantha).
