Sadly, Laura Smith Anderson of Vanceboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Lee Anderson; her parents, Earl Smith and Irene Smith; and her brother Alton Ray Wilson. She is survived by: her son David Earl Anderson (Lisa Overstreet) of Vanceboro; her siblings, Jean Dixon (Ray Dixon) of Grantsboro, Earline Smith of Vanceboro and Raymond "Pee Wee" Wilson (Cheryl Wilson) of Vanceboro; and her grandchildren, Blaine Anderson and Ashlee Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home - Vanceboro (608 Farmlife Ave, Vanceboro, NC 28586). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Juniper Chapel FWB Church (655 Piney Neck Rd, Vanceboro, NC 28586).
