As Lenora Bush departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lenora Bush. Though Lenora Bush may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel Bush and Minnie Bush; and her husband Elmer Ray "Pete" Stancill. She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Stancill (Cindy) of Bath, Steven P. Stancill (Kim) of New Hill and Lisa Stancill Minschew (Jim) of Clayton; her grandsons, Derek A. Stancill (Jordan) of Holly Springs and Brett T. Stancill (Jessi) of Wilmington; and her great grandchild Rowan Mae Stancill.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
