With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lexie Glyn Dean of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Hammond, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Katy Bice Dean; his parents, Mary Bell Holst and Rubbert Lee Dean; and his stepfather William Albert "Pete" Helm. He is survived by: his children, Andy Glyn Dean (Rachel) of Houston, TX, Amy Dean Britton (Kelly) of Glen Allen, VA and James William Dean of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Koda Dean, Koen Dean, Logan Dean, Autumn Dean, Dean Britton and Katy Britton. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
