She is survived by: her children, Gene Bateman (Melinda) of Simpson and Glenda Whitehurst (Ralph) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Sarah Godley (Nick), Blake Whitehurst (Kasey), Cody Bateman and Shane Whitehurst; her great grandchild Lily Whitehurst; and her sister Peggy Crawley (William). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
