She is survived by: her children, Robert Alexander Gurganus, Jr., Jennifer Gurganus Whitehurst, Thomas Ray Gurganus (Meera), Jessica Ilene Kirk and Caitlin Nicole Andrews; her grandchildren, Sarah Christine Lewis, Brian Alexander Gurganus, Cadence Alexandria Kirk and Sarah Kristine Kirk; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Wayne Lewis, Charlie Kate Jones, Bailee Mae Andrews and Isabella Grace Andrews.
