As we bid adieu to Linda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Linda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Edwards and Mary Lee Edwards; her husband Alton R. Stancill; and her daughter Lisa S. Rouse. She is survived by: her children, Teresa L. Stancill, Timothy Stancill (Tammy) of Ayden and Michael Stancill (Jennifer) of Ayden. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 8 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Timothy Christian Church (9657 County Home Rd, Ayden, NC 28513). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
