It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynn Vaughn Griffin of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her parents, Ronald Vaughn and Gloria Vaughn; her husband Chuck; her sons, Joseph Lee and Jake Lee (Torrie); her stepchildren, Jacob Griffin (Katie) and Jordan Sturgill; her grandchildren, Charlotte Griffin and Griffin Sturgill; and her close friends, Betsy Niethammer, Elaine Johnson, Alison Ambrose, Lynn Stanfield, Kim Ives and Wendy Tillotson.
