Mame Anta Diop Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mame Anta Diop (Vanceboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Mame Anta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mame Anta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vanceboro Islamic Cemetery (314 Haddock Dr, Vanceboro, NC 28586).
